The award winning Old Crown Brass Band returns to kick off its 2020-2021 season with a concert that celebrates Indiana. The band under the direction of Associate Conductor Bryen Warfield, will perform selection associated with famous Hoosiers. Featured Hoosiers will be Cole Porter, Red Skelton, Fred Jewell and of course, Michael Jackson. In addition, several rousing marches and Indiana themed selections will be performed.
The band performs at least one major Brass band selection at each concert. Conductor Warfield has chosen “The Patriots” a Symphonic Fantasia for Brass Band by Jan de Haan. For this concert.
This concert will be performed in the covered, outdoor pavilion on the Sweetwater Sound campus. We ask that you practice social distancing and masks are recommended. Because this is an outdoor concert in October, please dress appropriately!
The concert is open to the public. There is no admission charge but, the Old Crown Brass Band greatly appreciates your donations.
